The third song of Chhichhore which is titled ‘Khairiyat’ showcases the innocent love-story of Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor’s characters. Apart from the adorable chemistry, Arijit Singh’s soothing voice gives it an edge over the previously released tracks.

The three-minute song revolves around the Sushant and Shraddha and manages to catch the essence of their cute college moments along with glimpses of their current lives. Written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, Pritam has managed to give peaceful background music to the song.

Story

Chhichhore grossed ₹57.6 crores on its opening day. Chhichhore (transl. Flippants) is a 2019 Indian Hindi language comedy-drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Fox Star Studios and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. Principal photography commenced in September 2018.

The film was released on 6 September 2019, receiving critical acclaim for its portrayal of hostel life in Indian colleges. It became commercially successful and was declared a blockbuster. The film earned ₹215 crores (US$30 million) worldwide and received five nominations at the 65th Filmfare Awards – Best Film, Best Director, Best Story, Best Dialogue and Best Editing. This film was Sushant Singh Rajput’s final theatrically released film before his death in June 2020.
