When asked if she and Kanye West were officially dating, Julia has a clear answer:
It definitely felt like I was his girlfriend. But it also felt like I was being cast in the role of his girlfriend — and he was casting me. He was the orchestrator of it all. It really did feel like a movie.
However, she clarified that she views the experience with gratitude as the time they spent together gave her media exposure and connections that she might not otherwise have achieved.
Julia and Ye first sparked romance rumors on New Year’s Eve after the two were spotted together in Miami. The couple then began making more public appearances together and were photographed on multiple outings in New York City and while wearing matching denim outfits at Paris Fashion Week.
