Originally from the United States, Jeffrey became a notorious serial killer. According to Biography.com, on May 21, 1960, he was born to Lionel and Joyce Dahmer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Jeffrey started as a talkative and outgoing child but gradually became more reserved as time passed. The article claims that he became distant, tense, and introverted after this.
According to the New York Times, he participated in high school activities like the band and intramural tennis.
Later, the publication stated that Jeffrey spent a semester at Ohio State University before joining the military and receiving an honorable discharge.
Who Were His Victims?
According to Deseret News, Jeffrey had already killed 17 men and boys by the time he was finally apprehended. Among the victims were Joseph Bradehoft, who was 25 years old and from Milwaukee; Jamie Doxtator, who was 14 years old and from Milwaukee; Richard Guerrero, who was 25 years old and from Milwaukee; Anthony Hughes, who was 31 years old and from Madison; and Oliver Lacy, who was 23 years old and from Milwaukee.
What Was He Charged With?
In 1992, Jeffrey stood trial in Milwaukee on 15 counts of first-degree murder. According to Biography.com, he pled not guilty at first but afterward entered a plea of guilty because of insanity.
In May of that year in Ohio, after a jury deliberated for 10 hours, Jeffrey was found guilty on all counts and given 15 consecutive life sentences.
Jeffrey Dahmer How Did He Die?
On November 28, 1994, Jeffrey was brutally murdered by his cellmate Christopher Scarver.
Scarver told the New York Post that Jeffrey’s eerie sense of humor pushed him to kill him. One of Jeffrey’s pranks was coating prison food with ketchup to make it look like blood.
