Indeed, the moment has come for Call Me Kat fans to reevaluate the show’s future on Fox, as it has done previously.
When the program began in 2021, Mayim Bialik’s titular thirty-nine-year-old single woman and cat café owner in Louisville struck a chord with people because of her character’s development by Darlene Hunt. It’s actually based on the Miranda Hart television series of the same name, which premiered in 2009.
Fortunately, the remake – in a sense – has recently been renewed for a second season on Netflix.
Fans, on the other hand, have switched their attention to Call Me Kat season 3 now that they have finished watching all of the new episodes.
Call Me Kat Has Been Renewed For The Third Season?
The show’s creators, stars, or network Fox have not yet said whether Call Me Kat will be renewed for a third season.
This may be disheartening, but it is crucial to remember that season 2 only ended with episode 18 on May 5, 2022, which means that there is still time to watch the show. Given that the series has only been off the air for a short period of time, it’s possible that it’s still too soon to expect any firm renewal news.
Take a look at the show’s rating success, according to TV Series Finale, which claims that season 1 averaged a 0.59 rating among adults 18-49 and 2.61 million viewers in the live same-day ratings.
Season 2 has a lower average viewership in terms of millions, with episode 17 attracting 1.456 viewers on average (million). However, these are certainly still excellent numbers, with a handful of programs falling just short of two million views on a number of occasions.
I Could See Her Making Changes
In terms of Kat’s tale, there is obviously room for a second season to be developed. In a recent interview with TV Insider, Mayim was asked where we might expect to see her in 3rd season. She responded as follows:
“I have no notion because the huge ‘if’ is still a source of concern for me today. I can imagine her ending up in a variety of situations. I can picture her becoming a more refined version of herself. “I could see her making some adjustments.”
Continuing, she said, “I’m not sure, but it’s exciting to find out.” The fact that we don’t know whether or not there will be a Season 3 only adds to the uncertainty. Nevertheless, we hope we will all be able to learn where Kat ends up.”
