Kate is the main character in this Bridgerton cycle. Lady Mary Sheffield Sharma’s stepdaughter returns to London from India with her family. Her immediate goal is to find a good match for her sister on her father’s side, Edwina.

She is played by Adjoa Andoh, whom audiences have known from Liar, The Witcher, Invictus, and Doctor Who.
