House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 2 Recap
Daemon occupies Dragonstone with the help of the faithful City Watch guards six months after Rhaenyra is designated the successor.
Meanwhile, Prince-Admiral Craghas Drahar (also known as the Crab Feeder) threatens the Stepstones at the behest of the Triarchy. In response to Rhaenyra’s recommendation that they use force against Daemon, the king has appointed a new knight to the Kingsguard.
Disregarding advice, she goes with the combat-ready Ser Criston. Lady Alicent, Ser Otto’s daughter, comforts Viserys privately and encourages him and Rhaenyra to talk about Aemma’s death and his potential remarriage.
Viserys’s benefactors, Lord Corlys and Lady Rhaenys have proposed that he wed their daughter, Laena Velaryon, who is twelve years old.
Insights Gained by the Minimal Council Daemon has plans to take his mistress, Mysaria, as a second wife, so he stole a dragon’s egg to do so.
To rescue the egg, Ser Otto and a small detachment set sail towards Dragonstone. Rhaenyra rides Syrax, her dragon, to get Daemon to admit his deceit and give back the egg.
Lord Corlys is enraged by Viserys’s announcement that he will marry Lady Alicent, so he goes to find Daemon to propose an alliance.
House of the Dragon Season 1 Episode 3 Preview
The promo for the next episode of House of Dragon, which is going to be named Second of His Name, has been released by HBO, and it shows that King Viserys and Alicent will be successful in giving birth to a male heir.
Rhaenyra will hear from Otto Hightower that Aegon will become king, which indicates that Viserys’ succession will grow more complicated.
It seems likely that Rhaenyra’s relationship with her father will continue to deteriorate as long as King Viserys continues to yell at her about the topic of marriage.
It should come as no surprise that Rhaenyra will not want to follow customs by choosing a spouse, and because of this, she will begin behaving erratically in response to all of the changes that have taken place in her life and family.
Finally, the promo for episode 3 of House of the Dragon showed a dragon assaulting the adversary, suggesting that Daemon and Corlys’ fight against Crab Feeder would be more complex than they had thought.
Watch the third episode of House of the Dragon when it becomes available to stream on HBO Max and Hotstar on either September 4 or September 5, respectively.
The first two episodes and the second part of the series can be streamed on their respective platforms.
