Golden Globes Winners 2023: A typical awards show’s biggest mystery is who or what will take home the trophies. The Golden Globes this year will not be like other award shows.

After NBC decided not to screen the 2022 ceremony due to an ethics, money, and diversity crisis involving the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the group responsible for the awards, the 80th Golden Globe Awards is the first broadcast version of the annual spectacle. The underlying issue is whether or not the show’s producers can regain the confidence of its audience, the network, and the celebrities whose participation it requires.

A formal victor will be determined, however. The presentation will, like in previous years, present awards in both the cinema and television industries. “The Fabelmans,” “Tár,” “Elvis,” “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once,” and “The Banshees of Inisherin” are among the best film nominees. Abbott Elementary,” “House of the Dragon,” “Better Call Saul,” and “The Crown” are just a few of the multiple-nominated television shows.
