Ginny and Georgia’s Season 2 Finale starts with Georgia talking about how pain changes people. She doesn’t want her kids to get used to the scary things.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Recap, Ending Explain

Maxine makes Ginny feel better about her breakup with Marcus at school. Ginny and her friends all say the same thing: “Men are stupid.”

Gil tries to talk to Austin at school, which is a surprise. Austin doesn’t want to be around him at all. Gil tells Georgia that he will make her life terrible if he can’t see her. In flashbacks, Georgia points a gun at Gil, but Gil grabs the gun from her and says, “You’re stuck with me, G.” That’s scary!

At Joe’s restaurant, Maxine and Sophie see each other again. Sophie says he’s been missing her. She says she was mean to her because she was hard to see. Sophie tells Maxine that she and Josh have broken up, and she wants Maxine to be her friend. Maxine doesn’t know what to do, so she tells her she likes someone else.

Maxine wants Ginny to hang out with her friends to help her overcome her broken heart. She tells Ginny that the breakup wasn’t her fault and that Marcus has times when he feels sad. She tells him that he needs to retake his medicine. Ginny had no idea what was going on. Ginny and Max are leaving, so Georgia starts to pack her bags. In a flashback, Gil gets arrested because Georgia stole money from him.

Now, Ginny is out drinking with her friends. Marcus finds the boys and asks one of them if she knows where Ginny is. Hunter asks Marcus why he and Ginny broke up. He seems upset about hurting her. After that, Maxine takes Marcus home, which is very drunk. Ginny has a feeling about Georgia and Paul’s wedding, so she calls the place where it will take place. She finds out that it won’t happen.

In the streets, Marcus talks to Georgia. While they smoke a joint together, he asks about Ginny. Georgia tells Marcus that he helped her daughter feel safe, among other things. She’s glad that’s what he gave her. She thinks it was kind of him to let her go so he wouldn’t hurt her anymore. Marcus says he won’t tell anyone Georgia’s secret as she walks away, and then he pretends to cut someone’s neck. Georgia is worried that Marcus knows she killed someone.

Ginny talks to Georgia about why she called off the wedding when she got home. Georgia tells her they have to get out of town. Ginny wants to figure out how to stay, so she asks Georgia what scares her. Georgia gets angry and tells Ginny that she is a fake. She then thanks Ginny in a sarcastic way for telling her ex-boyfriend her secret about killing someone. She doesn’t think it’s enough to love Paul and doesn’t believe in happiness.

Ginny tells Georgia to tell Paul about Georgia’s history (apart from the murdering parts). She thinks that her mother should be able to live here.

So Georgia sits Paul down and tells him everything about her past: fraud, embezzlement, stealing from her job, shoplifting, a motorcycle gang, and a private investigator looking into her because of her ex-ex-wife. Husband, She then tells Paul that Gil is trying to force her to do something, and she tells him that Austin shot Gil in the arm.

Paul is shocked, and he decides to leave. As he walks out, Georgia’s kids sit on the stairs and watch him go.

Ginny goes to Marcus’s room to see him. She tells Marcus that she knows the breakup didn’t have anything to do with her. Ginny tells Marcus that she wants to be friends with him, whether they are together. They are in bed together when she comes to console him, and they begin to joke like two best friends.

Paul asks Georgia to meet him at his office the next day. She doesn’t know if it’s a trap to get her arrested, but she feels she has to go.

When she gets there, she finds a lawyer and a police officer there. Paul tells her to take a seat. Then Gil walks into his office, not knowing what’s going on. Paul tells Gil that what he has been doing is harassment and that he will go back to jail if he calls his parole officer. He tells him he won’t get any money from him before or after they marry. This shows that Paul does plan to stay with Georgia.

Gil says he will fight for custody, but Paul already has a family lawyer lined up. Paul tells him that if he wants to “talk to his wife” or “talk to his stepson,” he can do so through him.

After that, Paul tells Georgia he’s still angry with her but can’t leave her. The couple gives each other passionate kisses and says they are a team.

Georgia is happy to be going home. She tells Ginny that Paul is still interested in getting married. Ginny tells Georgia that she only needs a place to have the wedding.

Ginny and Georgia Season 2 Ending Explain

The wedding finally comes. A horse and carriage pick up Ginny and Georgia. Before the wedding, however, Gabriel reveals the truth to Nick, letting him know that his actual name isn’t Jesse and that he is, in fact, a private investigator. He says that he was hired to find out more about Georgia.

Nick is confused and angry that they have been lying about their relationship. He asks Gabriel if he cares about him at all. Gabriel tells Nick he’s sorry and that he needs to know everything.

When Georgia gets to the altar, Paul is blown away by how beautiful she is. It’s a fantastic event. Paul will always love Georgia. Ginny says she is lucky to know what it’s like to be loved without conditions because her mother loves her that way. She thinks the most powerful force is her love for Georgia Miller.

Ginny tells Georgia at the wedding party that she talked to a few people and got the venue for Georgia.

Marcus and Joe are sitting in the lobby. They can’t watch the wedding because they can’t stand to see Ginny and Georgia. Marcus tells Joe that Ginny’s happiness makes her happy. Both men finally got the courage to go to the party, arriving just in time for the First Dance.

Joe watches as Georgia and Paul do the First Dance. Georgia says that Ginny, her daughter, is better than she is and that Ginny is the best. She says that being happy is the scariest thing there is.

But Georgia’s happiness doesn’t last long, as Ginny and Georgia find out in the Season 2 Finale twist, which is a great cliffhanger. Gabriel and the police walk in, and Georgia is arrested for killing Tom Fuller. Paul tells her that he will find a lawyer for her.

It appears that Georgia will not have her happily ever after. Austin is upset and tells Ginny that he “didn’t tell anyone” about seeing Georgia kill Cynthia’s husband.

Ginny and Georgia, Season 2, Episode 10, has the happy ending we were hoping for, although the cliffhanger could be better.
