Genshin Impact 3.0: Fans of Genshin Impact were pleased to see so much tasty Sumeru content featured in the 3.0 Special Program. The program also included an announcement about the Sumeru update’s main characters.
Fans will be able to spend their accumulated Primogems on either three brand-new Sumeru characters or three reruns, making this an exciting announcement. The schedule for the arrival of new banner characters in Patch 3.0 is detailed below.
Genshin Impact 3.0 Banners: Zhongli Release Date
The 3.0 Special Program has already announced release windows for 3.0 and several subsequent updates.
According to the official statement, Sumeru’s worldwide debut is August 24, 2022.
Patch 3.0’s rollout time was shortened from six to five weeks; it was announced during the webcast (initially six weeks).
In other words, the next set of banners will be shorter than the usual 20 days. It has been widely assumed within the Genshin Impact community that the 17-day duration of each phase’s character banner is based on fan speculation.
The first half of Sumeru’s banners will be released on August 24, 2022, with patch 3.0. Phase I of Patch 3.0 will feature the following characters:
- Tighnari
- Zhongli
- Collei
Along with Sumeru, two new characters, Tighnari and Collei, will be introduced in the future update.
Both of them are experts with bows and the Dendro view they provide.
However, Collei will only be a 4-star character on the Genshin Impact roster, whereas Tighnari is a 5-star character.
The two of them also have distinctive equipment sets. Collei’s gear is better suited for supporting or sub-DPS positions, while Tighnari specializes in doing damage to Dendro enemies.
Fans should not miss out on this opportunity to acquire two brand-new characters under the exact imprint.
Tighnari will have to share the banner pity with Geo Archon Zhongli, who is having his third rerun in the game during Phase I.
If a fan’s team doesn’t already have a shield character, Zhongli is the best option.
Zhongli is a 5-star Geo Polearm user who can petrify adversaries in Genshin Impact and create robust shielding for party members.
On September 10 or 11, 2022, players can likely expect to see the banners for the second half of the next patch.
Characters featured in the next phase of the 3.0 patch are as follows.
- Ganyu
- Sangonomiya Kokomi
- Dori
The roles played by Ganyu and Kokomi in Genshin Impact are meta-defining, and they both play them exceptionally well. Regarding Cryo Bow damage dealers, Ganyu is among the greatest, whereas Kokomi is among the most potent healers for Genshin Impact.
Both characters are fantastic additions to a group, and new players should think about getting one of them.
Dori, a new Sumeru character, is the only 4-star confirmed for the upcoming Phase II of patch 3.0.
Dori is an expert with a 4-star Electro Claymore and has healing powers in her toolbox.
