Fontaine Genshin Impact Release Date: Fontaine has been leaked as the next significant Genshin Impact expansion, and details about its characters and when it might come out have also been revealed.

We are in the last few days of update 3.3, and version 3.4 is coming soon. With update 3.4, there is a lot to look forward to. Two new playable characters named Yaoyao and Alhaitham are shown on confirmed banners.

New playable heroes are always exciting, but much information about heroes coming in 2023 and 2024 may have gotten out.

Fontaine Genshin Impact Release Date

A leaked Reddit leak from 2022 indicated that version 3.7 might be the last before the release of Fontaine in update 4.0 of Genshin Impact.

Since miHoYo typically releases a new chapter every six weeks, the following schedule would hold if the leak is accurate.

Update 3.4 – January 18th
Update 3.5 – March 1st
Update 3.6 – April 12th
Update 3.7 – May 24th
Update 4.0 – July 5th

This coincides with the rumoured release window for Fontaine, which is somewhere in July or August. Note, however, that as of this writing, MiHoYo has not even announced the new territory.

Fontaine Genshin Impact Characters Leaks

The Fontaine area’s set of Genshin Impact characters may have been leaked.

There is a cast of characters available on merlin impact’s Twitter, two of whom are rumoured to be part of an unannounced Mondstadt update. It’s also possible that the leaker has dropped hints about which two characters will be included in the Mondstadt update as opposed to version 4.0 and beyond.

Leaks have been shared to Reddit in addition to the merlin impact file. There are multiple links to various leaked hero photos here.
