Xavier Alexander Musk, born a boy but now identifies as a woman, has filed a court petition to have her name legally changed to reflect her new gender identity.
Xavier had petitioned the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica in April for a name change and a new birth certificate reflecting her new gender identity.
“Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be associated to my biological father in any way, shape, or form” is listed as the basis for the name change in the official documents.
According to reports, an 18-year-old transgender daughter of Tesla CEO Elon Musk has filed paperwork to alter her name from Xavier to Vivian Jenna Wilson. Vivian has decided to drop her mother’s maiden name, Wilson, in favor of her mother’s maiden name, Musk.
From 2000 to 2008, she married Justine Wilson, who was Musk’s wife.
As a result of their first child’s death at 10 weeks, they now have two sons. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome was the cause of his death.
Nothing more was said about the dispute between Musk’s daughter and her father, the Tesla and SpaceX boss who is trying to take over Twitter for $44 billion.
