Echo 3 Season 1 Episode 7 Recap

The episode opens with Bambi’s arrival at the facility where Momo is being held. Bambi tries to talk with Momo, but Momo only responds by pleading with him to let him go and boasting about his wealth.

His patience is wearing thin because of Bambi’s impatience. And he needs Momo to call him immediately so they can exchange. Next, we check in on Violeta, who is still trying to get back on her feet after being kidnapped but is currently recuperating at home. Her husband is trying to ensure she’s well, but she can’t seem to calm down after what’s happened.

After that, Violeta enters the Presidential Palace to meet with the Head of State. He says they’re relieved nothing bad happened to her because many people look up to her.

She refers to her work on a piece on the American kidnapping for the Times. When she calls her supervisor to ask him what’s happening, he urges her to keep investigating. Yet he insists he is legally unable to discuss an ongoing probe.

Then, Bambi’s mother and Amber’s mother travel to the countryside. Natalie finds Violeta in the park and warns her that there are eyes on her. When she brings up the tale, Natalie comments that it’s fascinating, and then she lets her know that she is, indeed, on their side.

Both Bambi and Prince are highly disturbed by her presence. At last, he describes the situation with Amber and updates the swap’s progress.

Final word

Mitch calls Tariq to tell him his brother, who wants to talk to him, wants to talk to him while they begin tormenting Momo. He hangs up the phone and walks away. Now Mitch and Prince must torture because they have no option.

So, Prince explains the outcome to Tariq, who claims he has no control over Amber and is, therefore, a liar, according to Prince. He claims he can’t release Amber since she is a CIA spy.

You deserve this because you are a traitor, Tariq told Momo. To that end, Prince cautions him against doing so. Tariq claims he is unconcerned and that Amber will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Holy s**t, this is a dramatic scene. It was a titanic game of chess to see who would crack first: Prince or Tariq. Tariq is concerned for his brother but understands that he must play his cards well if he wants to stop them. Bambi hangs up the phone, and the two realize they must fight.

Bambi sends Natalie a message indicating he wants to hang out. While they try to rescue Amber, Bambi urges her to jam the facility. She argues that the issue is more complex than he assumes. Bambi doesn’t give a hoot, as he is on a mission to do this and is skilled in battle.

She inquires how many lives in Venezalua he would be willing to exchange for Amber, to which he replies, “how many you got, a million?” The scene then shifts to Prince briefing his team on a covert operation to save Amber. The stakes in this episode’s last minutes were increased in a way I hadn’t expected.

After mentioning last week’s turning point in this program, I now see that my initial assumptions were incorrect.

Echo 3 becomes better each week since we are seeing the creation of one of the greatest chess battles ever. When you think the stakes couldn’t possibly be any higher, the writers declare, “we got more,” and the final three episodes are gearing up to be bonkers.
