Recap of Episode 2

Previously, Tanjiro encountered Kotetsu, the guardian of the six-armed mechanical doll known as Yoriichi Type Zero. After witnessing Hashira Muichiro Tokito inadvertently damage the doll, Tanjiro and Kotetsu join forces to fix it. Under Kotetsu’s strict supervision, Tanjiro undergoes rigorous training, honing his skills and earning Kotetsu’s admiration.

During a practice session, Tanjiro hesitates to deal a decisive blow to the doll, fearing he might harm it. Kotetsu reassures him, and Tanjiro manages to behead the doll, albeit breaking his training sword in the process. As the episode draws to a close, Tanjiro and Kotetsu find a sword hilt concealed within the doll, sparking curiosity and anticipation for what they will uncover in episode 3.
