Call Me Kat Season 3 Episode 12: Fox has renewed Call Me Kat for a third season. Even though Mayim Bialik’s character Kat is fine with being single and almost 40, society and her mother, played by Swoosie Kurtz, disagree.
Miranda Hart got the idea for Call Me Kat from her own BBC UK show Miranda, which she also stars in. It started its first season in January 2021, and its second season started in January 2022.

Call Me After Kat’s father died, she quit her job as a professor, took the money her parents had saved for her wedding, and opened a cat café with it. The show has been following her as she begins this new part of her life.
At the end of season 2, both Kat’s job and her love life are in limbo. She goes to Paris (spoiler alert!) after breaking up with Oscar, but Bialik told TV Insider in May 2022 (before season 3 was picked up) that the character could end up anywhere.
“I can imagine her going a lot of different places. I can see her becoming a different person. I could see her doing things differently. It’s exciting because I really don’t know “Bialik said.
