The upcoming movie was written and directed by Matt Ruskin. It is based on the terrifying true story of the Boston Strangler, also known as Albert DeSalvo, which happened in the 1960s.
The movie will tell the scary true story of Albert DeSalvo, a shady man who was accused of being a serial killer and a sexual predator. In the 1960s, he is said to have killed 13 women.

Who was Albert DeSalvo?
Albert DeSalvo was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, on September 3, 1931. He was a horrible killer who freely admitted to being the notorious Boston Strangler. He was the son of Frank and Charlotte DeSalvo. His father, Frank, is said to have been an abusive alcoholic who beat his wife in front of his children.
Albert DeSalvo’s first run-ins with the law happened when he was 12 years old. He had hit and stolen from someone. Later in his life, he joined the U.S. Army and worked as a military police sergeant until he was discharged with honour.
Between 1962 and 1964, DeSalvo is said to have killed 13 people in Boston in horrible ways. All of the women he killed were different ages. Anna Slesers, Mary Mullen, Nina Nichols, Helen Blake, Ida Irga, Jane Sullivan, Sophie Clark, and Mary Sullivan are just some of the people who were hurt.
Most of the people who died were sexually assaulted and then strangled. But the man beat or stabbed some of them to death in cold blood. The man used to live at 11 Florence Street Park in Malden, Massachusetts, at the time of these murders.
What happened to Albert DeSalvo?
Albert DeSalvo was arrested and found guilty of a number of sexual assaults on February 25, 1967. He was called the “Green Man” at the time of his arrest because he wore the typical green uniform of a handyman when he attacked. The police did not think he was the Boston Strangler. But later, when he was on trial, he confessed in detail about all of the violent and bad things he did as the notorious killer who stalked the streets of Boston.
In the same year, he was given a life sentence, even though no physical proof linked him to the murders. He got out of prison in February but chose to return after only three days. On November 25, 1973, DeSalvo was found dead in the prison hospital. He had been stabbed.
