Boruto Episode 281 Release Date & Prreview

Boruto Episode 281: This coming Sunday, December 25, at 5:30 pm JST, you can expect to see Boruto episode 281. The show will premiere on TV TOKYO and other regional Japanese networks before going global on streaming services.

Boruto’s battle with Mr Kiseru in the previous episode, in which he hoped to catch him for his crimes, was likely the penultimate episode of the Labyrinth Game Arc. Once Boruto realizes that Kiseru is an undercover agent, Kiseru stabs him with a kunai, and Boruto appears to have woken up from a genjutsu.

Boruto Episode 281 Release Date

The eighth truth, episode 281 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, is scheduled to air on December 25, 2022.

The Boruto anime will have a week off after the release of episode 281, and then it will air the previously scheduled Sasuke Retsuden episodes nearly exclusively beginning with episode 282, titled Sasuke Retsude: Infiltration, which will be published on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Boruto Episode 281 Preview

The upcoming episode 281 of Boruto, titled “The Eighth Truth,” will wrap up the Labyrinth Game Arc. All the deaths were part of a genjutsu, as Mr. Kiseru explained to Boruto in the previous episode. Kiseru could not let on that he was an undercover spy, so he had Boruto snap out of the genjutsu.

Boruto will face off against the last remaining foe, most likely Rokuro, in the upcoming episode. This could mean a struggle between Boruto and Yatsume, who appears to be under Rokuro’s influence after she was revealed to have a cut on her leg.
