Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episodes 8 & 9 Release Date, Preview

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episodes 8 & 9: This morning, the official Bleach: TYBW website made public the delay in the release date, citing the effects on Sendai Broadcasting. Confirm whether or not this would affect foreign releases on other platforms has not been made as of the writing of this article, however, it is assumed that the delay for Sendai Broadcasting will cause such a delay.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 8 & 9 Preview

But fans expect that the new release schedule would impact the release dates in other countries. Both episodes 8 and 9, which were previously set to premiere on November 28 and December 5, respectively, will now premiere on the same day, Monday, December 12.

Since the announcement was made so recently (early this morning), many Bleach: TYBW fans still need to be aware of the planned shift in release dates. Despite the old adage, “ignorance is bliss,” the fanbase will likely be furious and demand explanations for the delay. Studio Pierrot is unlikely to provide answers during the two-week interval between episodes.

There may be a scheduling issue with another program scheduled to show on Sendai Broadcasting, but this has yet to be revealed to the public. The success of Bleach: TYBW could have made the adaptation team confident enough in the series’ continuing popularity to consciously switch up the release schedule. This is also why the show will be given an entire hour when it returns.

Studio Pierrot may take extra time to rework moments in upcoming episodes in response to fan criticism. Even while the vast majority of fans have been quite satisfied and loud about their happiness, Pierrot may have discovered a quiet minority who had valid comments that were overlooked at the time but are now appreciated.

Whatever the case may be, there is nothing concrete to go on at this point other than the postponement announcement, so all of this is just speculation. The delay is expected to be unannounced, and fans will not be given any kind of explanation.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 8 & 9 Release Date

The release schedule for the Bleach: TYBW anime was announced on Friday, November 25, with unexpected and somewhat bad news. The November 28 and December 5 air dates for episodes 8 and 9 have apparently been postponed.

The announcement needs to explain the sudden change in the release schedule for Bleach: TYBW. It also needs to be clarified if the delay only affects Sendai Broadcasting’s domestic releases or if it will also affect foreign releases on services like Hulu and Disney+.
