Aggretsuko Season 5 Confirms Release Date

Aggretsuko Season 5: At the end of last year, it was said that the anime’s previous season would start after a year break. Aggretsuko has been putting out a ten-episode season every year since 2018, but they didn’t do it last year.

Netflix has confirmed that the final season of Aggretsuko will come out on February 16th. Season 5 will be the last one.

The shy, 25-year-old Retsuko is back for the fifth and final season with new adventures as she goes about her daily life as an office lady. She just got her degree in finance and got a job as an accountant in a trading company. What she thought was the fulfilment of a dream with hopes for a bright future will soon turn into a stressful adult life.

The fifth season will start after the scene between Retsuko and Haida at the end of the fourth season. In the fifth season of Aggretsuko, Haida quits his job, and Retsuko runs for office, two very different things. Retsuko’s life will soon be full of stress as she starts to deal with office politics, an overbearing boss, dating, having a social life, and the general stress of being an adult.

Rarecho will direct and write the scripts for the fifth season at studio Fanworks, just like he did for the first four. As the trailer shows, the episodes will mostly be about Retsuko’s daily life, but Haida will also have his share of screen time. Shikabane, a new character who might affect Haida’s life, will also be introduced in the fifth season.

It is still unclear if Retsuko and Haida will have a romantic relationship in the last season. Even though Netflix only told fans a little bit about what will happen in the next season. It turned out that Retsuko had decided to move in with Haida to save him since he was living in an internet café after being kicked out of his apartment.
