A Town Called Malice gets its name from a hit song by The Jam from the 1980s (Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton). The sound of the 1980s is at the heart of the movie A Town Called Malice. It was made by the well-known director Nick Love and is about a crime family from South London called the Lords. They are angry that they are now at the bottom of the criminal food chain. They hope that moving to Spain will allow them to start over and return to their former glory, but some very big problems get in the way.

A Town Called Malice is an eight-part drama that starts on Thursday, March 16 at 9pm on Sky Max and NOW in the UK. It will also be on Sky Box Sets as a box set. In A Town Called Malice, The Lords are no longer at the top of their game as criminals, but that doesn’t mean they don’t miss those days. Gene Lord (Jack Rowan), who is the youngest of the clan, feels like his family doesn’t care about him or pay attention to his intelligence and killer instincts. After barely escaping a gang war, Gene and his tough girlfriend Cindy (Tahirah Sharif) run away to the Costa del Sol in Spain to avoid being caught. There, they get involved in the local underworld while desperately trying to stay out of trouble. When the rest of the Lords show up on the Costa del Sol, they try to get back to the good old days when they were the top criminals. However, Gene and Cindy don’t like this because they have a different plan…
